Volunteer at Dharma’s Garden

We are truly grateful to all the people who have shown up to help us over the years—both on the farm, and behind the scenes. Without this immense enthusiasm, we continue to evolve to garden to create more opportunities for learning, growing, and connecting.

Volunteer Opportunities

Regular Volunteering from 4pm - 7pm June through September

WEDNESDAY WINE & WEED (4pm - 7pm)

Join us on the farm every Wednesday to work on garden tasks to keep our soils healthy and strong. These evenings are a wonderful opportunity to learn about soil theory, farm design strategy, and how to grow and interplant vegetables successfully. Join us on Wednesdays to take part in an assortment of tasks: cover beds in straw, weed, move mulch and compost, and more!

FRIDAY HARVEST (4pm - 7pm)

Join us on Friday evenings in take part in harvesting for our Saturday Markets. These evenings are a wonderful opportunity to learn about harvesting techniques for flowers, herbs, greens, roots, fruits, and more!

OTHER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We will often host volunteer times outside of our typical hours to work on fun projects around the farm: building garden beds, planting perennials, even construction projects! Fill out the form below if you are interested in getting involved on the farm outside of our typical volunteer hours!

Make a donation

Our project continues thanks to the generous support of of every one of you out there who cares about our project. We are grateful for any and all gestures of support!
Dharma’s Garden is a project of our 501c3 nonprofit, and all donations are tax-deductible.

JOIN US

We offer two different ways to show your support and join in the fun at Dharma’s Garden: you can be a “SEASON PARTNER” or an “ENTHUSIAST” or BOTH! Becoming an ENTHUSIAST and/or SEASON PARTNER is an expression of support for the garden and a gesture of engagement with community. For both options, all benefits extend to everyone who lives in your house.

All that is required to become an ENTHUSIAST and/or SEASON PARTNER is to fill out an online form and make an annual donation at the time of signup. Your annual donation will help sustain this community project, and the amount of the donation is entirely up to you. Donation amounts may vary greatly from one family to another, based on each of our individual means. You decide what you can afford to give, and what it’s worth to you to have this precious community resource.

Why would I be BOTH a Season Partner AND an ENTHUSIAST?
If you live locally, and wish to get access to our exclusive onsite market AND also want to support us on an ongoing basis, then you can be BOTH a Season Partner AND an Enthusiast.

What’s the difference between a SEASON PARTNER and an ENTHUSIAST?
