Kevin Brown

Kevin Brown has lived in Colorado most of his life and has been a proud and supportive North Boulder neighbor of Dharma’s Garden since its inception. Trained as a medical oncologist and hematologist, he now practices as an integrative medicine physician with a focus on the medicinal power of food. He believes in the power of healthy, sustainably raised, organic food to heal us as individuals and also to help heal our society and our planet. He believes that Dharma’s Garden’s special value is that it involves the local community in the process of growing, harvesting, and enjoying truly healthy food, helping to break down feelings of disconnectedness and separateness from natural processes that so many people suffer from today. He believes Dharma’s Garden can be a model for others who believe in the transformative power of sustainable urban agriculture. His other pursuits include spending time with his family, gardening, cooking, hiking, playing guitar, and living mindfully.
