An intimate fireside evening of story, conversation, and reflection exploring humanity’s living relationship with the Earth, landscape, and unseen realms.
Through mythic storytelling, dialogue, and shared inquiry, Patrick will introduce themes of animism, sacred reciprocity, and participatory consciousness — the ancient understanding that the world is alive, relational, and responsive.
Together we will explore stories and symbols that invite us into deeper communion with place, including the Mesopotamian myth of Inanna and her descent through the seven gates of transformation — a powerful metaphor for the labyrinth journey, inner initiation, death and renewal, and the return to embodied wisdom.
This gathering is intentionally conversational rather than presentation-based, offering participants an opportunity to sit with these themes inwardly — and even dream into them overnight — before Saturday’s immersive workshop.
