Gather & Ground
every SATURDAY
July, August, & September
Gather & Ground is our weekly Saturday invitation to enjoy the farm in whatever way feels right to you.
Every Saturday (July–September), the farm is open from 7:30 AM–12:30 PM (note the earlier start!). You're welcome to arrive and leave at any time during those hours. There is no required schedule, and no "right way" to attend.

You might:
Wander the gardens and meadow
Visit the sheep and ducks
Relax beneath the trees with a book or journal
Bring your children to enjoy the sandbox and swingset
Pack a picnic to enjoy on the farm
Participate in a guided meditation, movement, or community singing session
Stay for fifteen minutes or spend the whole morning

Sat, July 11th:
Movement Instructor is David Drimmel.
Join us for: beginning Yang Style Tàijíquán which introduces the foundational movements of the world’s most widely practiced tàijí tradition (Tai Chi). Through slow, flowing forms, students develop balance, relaxed strength, and a calm, focused mind. Each class builds gradually — posture, breath, and movement woven together at a pace welcoming to complete beginners. Rooted in an authentic lineage, this class offers a genuine entry point into an art whose depth unfolds over a lifetime of practice.
INSTRUCTOR BIO:
David Drimmel is the Founding Director of Origin Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and transmitting authentic traditional Chinese martial arts and internal cultivation practices. He studies under Head Master Roberto Baptista, whose lineage traces through Grand Master Chan Kwok Wai to the Central Guoshu Institute of Nanjing, established in 1928. David brings a background in functional health and years of dedicated qìgōng and tàijí practice to his teaching, guiding students to reclaim the vitality and stillness that already live within them. -
