Curious about raising sheep and regenerating your land at the same time? Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring the powerful connection between sheep grazing, livestock health, and soil vitality. Learn the basics of sheep care, behavior, and infrastructure, then head to the field to see how thoughtful grazing can improve pasture resilience, plant diversity, and microbial life beneath the surface. Participants of all knowledge levels are welcome!

INSTRUCTOR: Taylor Muglia

Taylor Muglia (she/her) is dedicated to equipping farmers and ranchers with the knowledge and resources they need to grow healthy plants, animals, businesses, relationships, and communities. She currently helps farmers organize their finances as a Bookkeeping Specialist at Good Roots and recently served as the Colorado Manager at Quivira Coalition’s New Agrarian Program for 4 years, supporting over 100 agricultural apprentices in their personal and professional pursuits. With formal training in agronomy from the University of Arizona and a recent completion of the Integrity Soils CREATE Program, blended with years of practical experience on farms in Colorado, Taylor enjoys learning about all things soil health and teaching others along the way.
